Latest government guidance on preparing for a no-deal “Brexit”

On the 22nd October, the government issued further guidance in the form of a “Partnership Pack” to help firms to plan, should the UK leave the EU without a deal.

The Partnership Pack

The Partnership Pack includes information on Customs, Excise and VAT plus Fact Sheets on a range of topics including:-

Traders importing from the EU only
Traders exporting to the EU only
Traders with the EU and the rest of the world
Traders with the rest of the world only
Businesses suppling services to the EU

Additional Technical Notices

A number of Technical Notices across a range of topics, including customs and VAT have been published by the government These notices explain the changes that would apply if the UK leaves the EU without a deal on 29 March 2019.
