Having trained and qualified with DRG, Oliver returned as partner in 2015.

Prior to re-joining Oliver spent ten years working in corporate finance, latterly as a director in BDO LLPs national transaction services team where he specialised in financial due diligence for individuals, corporate, financial and private equity clients involved in transactions and financial events such as, sales, acquisitions, re-financing, fund raising, start ups, working capital funding, valuations and exits.

Approach

His approach, prior to advising clients, is to build a relationship with the management team, and spend the time required to understand their aspirations, the financial and commercial rationale of the business and its underlying management reporting systems.

Value Add

Having worked on well over 100 transactions Oliver’s knowledge spans a broad range of business types, sizes and sectors, although he has extensive relationships in the mid market and particular experience of technology, media, hospitality and leisure, manufacturing and healthcare. Leveraging this experience of analysing different business models enables Oliver to quickly evaluate and articulate the key profit drivers and then work with his client on the various strategic decisions facing all businesses.
